    Don't quote me on this but I think the trade paint is thicker and has a higher opacity. You use less for more coverage but it's harder to apply, a professional may thin a trade paint before application.

    But if you go to the Dulux sites I can't see any difference in the specs. Both are quoted with identical coverage per litre.

    Hi,

    I have been reading up on paints & on the various forums I have frequented, all the decorators/tradesmen defintely say that the Trade paints are superior to the consumer paints so I hope that helps!

    Same here tradesman that I know all say exactly the same thing.
