just wondering which lcd to go for the 26" duel at asda at £489 or the haier L30CV6 available at ebuyer at £550, this will be a second tv for a new conservatory, it seems easier to get the duel from asda (no messing around with online suppliers). any views :lease:
    Thanks :)

A friend of mine has the duel and he loves it, even comes with a wall bracket. No bells and whistles but a cracking picture and it looks good too. Sorry no info on the other one. The other thing about asda is if it develops a fault within its warranty period you will get a easy refund, try that at ebuyer.

haier is bigger, but costs a lot more to wall mount
buy on a credit card and ebuyer can't give you any hassle
haven't tried the dual, but assuming it's a video7/sonix/random other manufacturer of sub£500 tv clone you shouldn't have any problems, provided the screen is ok when you first get it!!!
if it's gonna fail it'll be in the first few months (touches wood)

popped into comet yesterday, had a look at the hitachi 26LD6200 which is a simular or same model as the duel just differant badge the picture quality was very good, they had about 15 lcd tvs all playing from the same feed and this was one of the best,a sales rep told me it does not come with a wall bracket and would cost an extra £100-£150, so with the duel having one included it seems a good deal.
On another subject, cabling to the screen i will be chasing into the wall,eg coax, scart, dvi, speaker cable, i will prob want to connect sky+ and a multimedia pc these will need to be 10mtr+ should i put them all in or just the coax and scart.
    Thanks :)
