Have to agree. I was hooked on Series 1 from the first minute of the first episode right up until the last minute of the last episode, but I lost total interest during Series 2 and eventually stopped watching it.

It lost it definetly in the second series. Main reason I felt was when they changed the cop.

They changed the actor who played Ray in the third season, not the second. In my opinion the second series was the best, especially they episode where they were stuck inside the bank safe... :)

HI,

David Marciano played Raymond Vecchio in the first and second season of this show. In the 3rd Season, which was co-funded by the BBC, Pro Sieben, and a few other European TV companies, it was actor Callum Keith Rennie (or Keith Callum Rennie) who played another Ray Vecchio. However, David Marciano did appear in a few episodes as well.

I can't wait to get to see this series uncut and uncensored, as it's never been shown in its entireity by the BBC. Minor snippets for language and violence, were always made so that it could be shown early-evening.

And wasn't Diefenbaker, the coolest dog?! ;)

Hi MJN,

Technically, yes he was. But, for the sake of argument, a wolf is a breed of dog, isn't it?!

P.S. And yes, it will be the whole of Season 1 that gets the initial release, including the Pilot Movie as well, that sets up the show rather nicely!

P.P.S And Season 3's not that bad. There were some great episodes. It just took a lot longer for fans to adjust to the new "Vecchio", after having fallen-in-love with the old one, who was a wise-cracking character!

Anyone seen Detective Armani?! :D
