Firstly can i apologise if to many my questions are obvious or way off the mark but i am a novice who reads these threads but understands little.

I have taken the plunge and am getting Sky HD installed on Monday. My question is whether i will be able to copy things recorded on the Sky box to DVD (like to keep certain things for posterity and to avoid loss if the box fails), i have a JVC DVD&HDD Recorder which i was hoping to keep in the loop for this purpose and for playing DVD's.

    Any help much appreciated.

Scart from TV scart out on Sky HD box to AV2 (scart in) on DVD recorder.

And, for the best possible transfer, if your DVD recorder accepts RGB in, make sure that RGB is enabled in the Sky box set-up for the TV scart output.

    Cheers,

    Martin.
