If I dub some stuff to DVD-RW on my XS32 and then finalize the disc so I can watch it on other players, when I eventually want to archive it to DVD-R, can I dub it back to the HDD or will I have to un-finalize it first (and will this mess up what's on it)?

    Thanks

If your Recorders allows dubbing from DVD i dont see why not, it should just see it as a normal DVD without an un-finalize

When you un-finalize a DVD-RW does it damage any contents on the disc or just make it ready to be added to?
