Ok, its not Av based but who doesn't like a bit of toast.

I've been after a proper Dualit toaster for some time but the prices have always been too high.

Rackhams (House Of Fraser) in Skipton, North Yorks 0870 160 7265 have a selection at 30% off.

Picked up a metallic silver two slice model for £69.99 down from £99.99.

Wife took the **** and said I was sad when I said it was a design icon, deep in the back of my mind I think she's probably right.................

Icon or no, they do make bl**dy good toast, especially if the bread used is a little stale. Way ahead of the Morphy Richards'es (etc). And the slot is actually big enough to put ALL of a slice of bread in (most loaves, anyway).

Now all you need is the matching kettle.

After George Foreman's successful range of grills, I bought a Frank Bruno Toaster.

Its good but can't manage more than 2 rounds :laugh:
