My TV has BT built in but can only pair to one set of headphones at one time, both my partner and I want to both be able to watch Netflix at the same time using headphones. I’ve got AirPod pros and a pair of Turtle Beach stealth 700.

I’ve tried a BT transmitter which allows sound through multiple headphones at the same time but getting them paired and working with it was a PITA, I’ve sent it back today and ordered a different model. If this new model is also crap I’m thinking about possibly using the PS5: optical out to the TB transmitter & HDMI sound to the tv, which I can then pair the AirPods with. Obviously though, this would require the PS5 to output sound to both HDMI and optical at the same time. Can it do that?

Cheers

PS5 doesn't have optical out it's HDMI only.

Your TV probably has an optical out though?

Edit: and possibly even a headphone output?

Yes, it has both of these. But, will not output sound to both at the same time. As it turns out though, the new BT transmitter that I bought works much better. Headphones very easy to pair & the sound quality is good 🙂
