Has any one tried dual layered discs on the pioneer DV-757Ai or 575?

Thanks for the reply, I had all ready looked there but as the last post for the 757 was 2004 i was hoping some one here had tried dvd-r dl or dvd+r dl on it.
I know the 575 will play dvd+r dl but not sure about dvd-r dl

Well at £5+ per DL disc I can't say I'm surprised by the lack of replies from users who have tried DL discs. Even those that have tried and had success would offer no guarentees as the software used to create them is still very new and at best inconsistent with compatability. Plus different makes of disc can affect reliability etc etc.

IMO you are better of trying for yourself, or if possible wait for a while until the softeware becomes more reliable (it is getting there, slowly!)and the discs come down to around £1 per disc and therefore people can afford to experiment with them.
