I have built a new system with one SATA HDD and one IDE HDD. The SATA drive is the bot drive but I want to be able to boot to the other drive which has a seperate XP on it. I have done this before by editing the boot ini file. I have tried this time but with no luck.

The default boot is listed as multi 0 drive 0 rdrive 0 partition 1

Any ideas what I need to set the other one to? It's master drive on the primary IDE channel. What does multi, drive, rdive and partition refer to?

    Cheers

    Steve,

I'd be interested to know how you did this, could you please explain? Did you still edit the boot.ini file? What are the steps involved?

    Thanks. :)

    Vlad.
