Hi, can I install the same XP disc on each of my two drives and if so, how would I know which one i'd be booting from at the dualboot startup screen?

    Cheers, STu

I think you will find that 2 installs requires 2 licence keys.

To define which version of XP you are booting into you can download a fee program such as EasyBCD which lets you name the 2 versions of XP to anything you want in the bootloader screen.

Cheers mate, I only wanted to do it temporarily to see if it was my original h/d at fault, my idea was to install xp again on a partition on my backup hard drive but now I've found some hard drive checkers to see if it really is knackered.
