Since Friday I have experienced a serious drop in signal strength on my Pace Twin. Being the somewhat unreliable Twin I am not sure whether this is transmission related or a hardware fault with the Twin.

My signal strength previously was in the range 65-70%, but on Friday it dropped as low as 25%, though has since picked up to around 45%. It could be weather related as we had some rain last week, though the drop does seem a little extreme.

I point at the Guildford trasmitter, and the BBC web site showed that no maintenance was in progress.

Has anyone else in the Guildford area experienced problems ?

Can the weather cause that big a drop in signal strenght ?

Someone else had this problem. But a glance out of the window informed him that a gurt big crane had just moved onto the building site opposite!
