    i have a denon 1603 av receiver and a jvc dvd what cable do i need for dts to play on my denon im new to this so dont slag off my denon lol. i had a sherwood prior to my denon. any advice would be great

    You need a digital coaxial cable from the dvd player to the digital input on your denon. Then when the menu comes up on the Dvd if it has a DTS soundtrack go to audio set up and select it there then your reciever should automatically switch to DTS.
