since i upgraded from my pioneer ns dv55 i'm finding my once favoured DTS sound tracks a nightmare.
If i set the volume to a level where the dialogue is right, the effects and bass are too loud, if set the volume to match the effects and bass, the dialogue is to low.
I'm running a pio 757ai, pio ax3 and the speakers are kef 2005's.

Have you tried altering the channel levels? There is usually this type of adjustment in the set-up routine to balance the channels thereby avoiding the problem you have.

i use the mcacc to set up channel levels.
DD sound tracks are fine, and same goes for surround sources put through PL2 or neo 6.
    Just DTS.
