    Hi,

If I buy the Creative Audigy card and connected it to my amplifier will my amp still pick up the DTS-ES sound as well as the DD-EX. This being if the sound card is connected by an optical lead. Not sure if the card does or does it use coaxil?

    Cheers for help.

pretty much any sound card with digtal out can do DTS ES passthrough. Yes the AMP will pick it up automatically like with a regular DVD player.
