I'm starting to shoot video on a Canon 550D dslr and have got a GGS 'Perfect' Viewfinder (3x magnification) but it seems to create a blur or flickery image when I move the camera.

It could be something to do with the amount of magnification or maybe it's something I could change in the settings.. Any ideas?

I don't think there is much you can do to change it. The blur is due to the refresh rate of the display not being able to keep pace with your movement (which is common to most cameras), and as you suggest that effect is just being magnified by the loupe and you being so close to the screen.

Pan the camera more slowly :)
