DSCALER for SKY picture?

Just a quick question (well maybe not). I have got the facility to run my Sky plus through my PC and then on through my projector for a big screen image. I have also got the free program called 'DScaler' and would like to know if this software can be used effectively to create a good clean image to send to the projector? Are there any other software programs that may be more appropriate for this task, as the increased size of the image shows up the faults in the picture (noise etc). So if anyone has found good software what is it and what settings do you use (DScaler seems pretty complex).

Thanks to all who dare to help!

PS Will I get the best image by simply running a composite lead from the Sky box straight into the back of the projector???

Cheers,
Pete.

You may be better off posting in the HTPC forum, many DScaler users there. :)

Simple answer: yes, DScaler can make a huge difference.
