Got the set from MVC today, (and got a free t-shirt :))
However, I don't like the way they've packaged the discs inside the box, kind of looks very flimsy and whats with the foam pad that doesn't stop it all from rattling around inside?

I wish they stuck with STTNG style packaging

What does everyone think of the quality of the transfer?

I've only watched the season opener but the video quality is appalling. I'm really dissappointed.

I had to stop halfway through and put Attack of the Clones in to remind myself what it's supposed to look like.

I have all 7 seasons pre-ordered. I'm now wondering whether to bother.

If you think the DVD is bad then watch the pre-recorded VHS. I can't watch it as the image is so soft and blurry, even for VHS it is rubbish.

I have been told the DVD is much better.

Then the VHS must be really bad.

It looks like composite video through a bootlace!
