So just the other day I discovered my newest favourite song to play drums to: "Are You Dead Yet?" by Children of Bodom. Now this song probably isn't everybody's cup of tea but while I'm not a huge fan of theirs, this is the sort of thing I do enjoy listening to. But what really got my interest levels peaked was the volume of kick pedal action. YouTube - Children of Bodom - "Are You Dead Yet?" Spinefarm Records Instead of just tapping away every now and then (FYI, I play on Hard level), there were bits of this that had lots of constant kick pedal, and listening to the song you can hear the double kicks that I'm not even being asked to play yet. Getting past the intro is the tricky bit - after that it's an easy song to play on Hard, but immensely satisfying to play. It just felt so awesome to play along to. The other two songs I'd list are Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way" which is simply superb fun, and, of course, Metallica's "Enter Sandman". What tracks do you particularly enjoy playing? Not just because you're a massive Oasis fan or whatever but simply because the tracks themselves are hugely rewarding to play that even a non-fan would appreciate?
