    Also known as Vercingétorix .http://us.imdb.com/Title?0199481

I just sat through about half of this waste of a film (it was on sky).
Poorly shot, poorly acted, weak story line. It is very rare I won't watch a film through to the end. Normally I like to at least see how the story ends but with this movie, I just didn't care.

    Avoid this movie.
About the only watchable bit was *** Spoiler *** when the women flashed their breasts and threw chickens at the Romans to distract them. And even that just seemed stupid.
Hopefully I've saved you 2 hours of your life by convincing you not to watch this.

Christopher Lambert tends to appear in lame films these days. Maybe he's trying to out do Rutger Hauer or even Jean Claud Van Dame in the staight to video stakes.
He showed such promis in Greystoke and Highlander- all down hill since then imo.

Oh no no no. Try "Resurrection" - really good film and quite grim in places ;)

I really liked it, that's all I can say :)

The disk itself freaked me out when I got it though. See here so it doesn't freak you out too :D

Resurrection's ace. Far better than you'd expect it to be.
Not a bit like Se7en, though;)

Finally got around to buying/watching this the other day. Was quite good and you were right about the disc. I put it in upside down to start with before I sussed out which way to put the thing in -lol. Lambert actually put in a good performance- any other gems of his I may have missed. I remember one about a chess player but can't remember the name.

Knight Moves. I remember watching it a while ago and really enjoyed it. The main non spoiler bit I remember was Lambert briefly pissing off a couple of Policeman by beating a chess machine when he was supposed to be all serous and nervous about being a suspect.
    Would recommend this film.
