DrPetes Setup!

nice set up by the way (post get your LCDS out for the lads)...

your back speakers are located right next to your seating position.

I realise that your back surrounds are meant to provide a nice ambient spread rather than direct in your ears noise!

but I have tried this set up(I know the experts reccomend this set up) and can only say it dosent work for me and I cant understand how it works for anyone (I almost blew my ears with this setup - DTS Daredevil soundtrack)...

a. your playing your movies way to low (which would be a waste and even then some sounds bang out regardless of volume setting - explosions etc)

b. you sit on the table and ignore the sofa...!!!

c. your surrounds are disconnected and you dont even know it!!

How does anyone cope with this setup!!!!!!!!!! and dont tell me bipolars, its just too close not to risk hearing damage!!!
