Driving Speakers clarification please...!

I'm having mega problems with my Denon AVR2105 amp driving my Mordauntshort Premier plus setup. See Denon Owners' forum.

Can somebody explain, in laymans terms what all this
Ohms impedence,
frequency response,
clipping and
sub crossover???? means.

And have I made a novices fundamental clanger matching the 2105 with the Mordaunt's.

It's all as clear as matt black tracing paper to me

No mismatch in terms of power handling or price at all but it does look like you may have a faulty amp.
