Has anyone compaired the Matt White and High Power DRH screens?
Just wondered if it was worth spending the extra.

I wouldn't have thought the High power necessary - 3.2 gain seems like too much for most projectors - certainly if used for Home cinema.

Hi Mike-M, I managed to get an A4 sample of both materials for a side by side comparison. I found the high gain sample to be too bright with my HS-50. Everything seemed to have a bit of a blue glow about it. Made a 10 foot static screen with the 1.0 gain material in the end and am VERY happy with the results. Total cost including mitre say £260.00 bargain considering the retail hit on this size screen would be in the £900 to £1100 bracket :D

Thank's for that. After further reading the spec's of the different fabrics I see the viewing angle of the high gain is a lot less that the standard. I think I'll go with the standard.
