I have the Panasonic TX32LXD52 hd lcd tv and recently bought a dreamcast (never played shenmue 2 and have always wanted to :)

I am using an rgb scart lead.Everything is fine until i select 60hz mode and the picture shifts to the left and a black bar appears on the right hand side of the screen? If i switch to 50 hz it goes back to normal.(widescreen setting)

Changing to 4:3 just looks bad!

I there is a vga cable OR a vga box available and i wondered if this would bve ok in 60hz on this panel? Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

You can get a vga box for the dreamcast. Theyre not too easy to come by, especially the official one but they will give you the best picture quality as it will output in 480p instead of interlaced. Not all games work with vga though and very few in 16:9 so it may display as 4:3 unless you have an option to stretch the image on your tv... I dont have a vga box or your tv tho so i cant comment more than that :) Theres a compatibility list for 480p games here:- http://www.hdtvarcade.com/hdtvforum/index.php?autocom=custom&page=dreamcastaf I think the list refers to US versions tho so there may be 1 or 2 where the pal version is different... :)
