110" draper react 2.1 in 16:9 with a fixed frame finished in black velvet.

New and in box for last 6 months. Never even unfurled the screen.

Intended to get enough space to mount it, but plans have changed and so I can't.

There's plenty of threads about the draper react, if you don't know what it is.

    The price doesn't include shipping.
If you want a shipping quotation, I can get dimensions and weight for you.

    Price and currency: £1000
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
Payment method: Cash or bank transfer
    Location: Cambridgeshire

Which fixed frame type is it.
Also do you have the exact outer measurements and the actual viewing area please?

The frame is draper frame vision light covered in black vel-tex.
Attached is a photo of the only part that's been out of the wrapper, the upright and two end caps.
Everything else is still in the wrapper, and the screen itself hasn't even been unrolled or removed from it's box.

    Full outer dimensions are: 2415mm x 1400mm
( Measurements are exact, but within a few mm )
The frame is 55 mm thick, ~32mm deep on the outside.
So the viewing area is 110" (as per subject).

Quick bit of maths confirms that:
    ( ( 2415 - 11 ) ^ 2 + (1400 - 11 ) ^ 2 ) v 2 = 2776.43mm diagonal viewable

Let me measure and see if it fit. I think it may be too big but will let you know.

Are you sure those thickness and depth measurements are right ?..... 5.5mm x. 3.2mm seems awfully thin....!!

Well spotted! That's utter nonsense. Out by 1 order of magnitude.
    I've corrected the original post.

    Bump:

    This screen is still available.
Please let me know if that's due to price, rather than interest, and I'll consider sensible offers.

Otherwise in another week I'll find another venue to post it, and remove it from here.

    Thanks :)

Would you consider £800 delivered? I was hoping for a retractable tension version, but might be able to make this work... I'm due to go measure up at the place on Saturday!

I'd go to 800 excluding shipping, yeah.
    That good enough for you?

Do you know the packaging dimensions? I'll need to look into cost of carriage. You're in Cambridge area?

I'll be in the flat tomorrow and do some measurements, main trouble is, the wall I would have it against isn't flat, the right hand side jutts out, so logistically I've no idea how this would work...!

Any thoughts on the mounting process? Can it be mounted on a wall with varying depths?

    Cheers,
    James

I'll get package dimensions and weight for you, but I'm afraid I'm away for the weekend, so it won't be until Monday.

The frame is well supported, so you can just hang it like a picture. So long as you can get two good points to hook it onto, you can just hang it no problem. I can't specifically speak for the scenario you're talking about, but so long as you can construct two flat points on which hooks (come supplied, or you can fashion your own), then you should be okay.

Hey, unfortunately think a retractable one is the only thing which will work in the room as it needs to double up as the kitchen/living space! Thanks for the info though fella :)

    Hi,

Great screen, not sure if still available, bit of a cheeky offer as 6 months away from being ready for my home cinema but could offer £750.00 and collect this weekend and pay cash.

    regards

    Dave

Do you have the original receipt of purchase, how much warranty is left please, if all good I'd like to revise the offer if you accept £800.00 and I'll collect as per previous thread ?

    regards

    Dave

Ahhhhh! still for sale "LOL", no worries I can't install it for about 6 months anyway as renovations haven't started yet, since your previous post I called a few of my suppliers and I can sourced from work without VAT for just over £850 new but might be willing to part with £700.00 if that helps, if a low bid apologises but could collect and the weekend.

    regards

    Dave
