downloading game onto PSP?

Hi I have downloaded a simple game onto the memory stick but it does not appear when you try to find it?
The file was saved in the common folder, but I also tried the video folder but still no joy.
the game is a exe file, what am I doing wrong?

I think you need to post a bit more info about your game such as is it homebrew or emulation.
