Downloaded Games in 4.3 format????

Hi Guys, I have downloaded a couple of games demo games from the PS store but for some reason they are all in 4.3 format rather than 16.9. What am I doing wrong?

The games should grab the resolution info from the PS3 OS, so at a guess i say you havent set up the PS3 to output in widescreen which you can do in the display settings.

My friend had the same problem, and as you say, it wasn't set to widescreen

Thats strange as every thing else is showing in wide screen, but I will check my settings again

What games do it? PS1 games? Proper PSN games?

It appears that everything I download goes into 4.3 format. I set up "Home" yesterday, you know the place where you are in the appartment and you can design what you look like. That came out in 4.3 as well. I dont get it.

If I play a Blu Ray, no problem and the XML screen is also ok. I have checked all the settings and I cant see a problem.

I looked at the online instruction manual and it shows a screen where you can toggle between 4.3 and 16.9, but I cant find it on my settings screen. Am just being thick and have missed it.
