....and multiroom.

Hello again.

Economic situation is a bit hairy at the moment and was wondering if it is possible to downgrade from Sky HD to SKY Freesat.

We currently have 2 x HD boxes 1 x standard box and our monthly bill is about £110. This includes Sky Talk and line rental.

I know we would lose vast majority of HD channels, movies, sports, etc.. but hopefully it will just be for 1-2 years max.

Anyway, does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade but retain the HD boxes and Sky plus functionality.:lesson:

many thanks in anticipation. :lease:

Thanks for the prompt reply.

So I can still use the boxes as normal but pay a tenner for SKY plus on one box or, I presume, £20 for having SKY plus functionality on both my HD boxes.

Sorry to be a pain, but you just know that SKY won't volunteer this information easily.

That's OK, and that's right, £10 for each receiver to record.
Sky are meant to allow it when you stop subscribing but some agents might not admit to knowing about it.
