What can i say apart from WOW, this film blew me away had me hooked all the way (rare for me). The sound effects where amazing especially when the Russian artillary came down.
Also had me close to tears with the kids scene (in their beds) i won't say more as i don't want to spoil it for anyone. but if you are into good war films or even history then get this you won't regret it.

    Absolutely.

Magnificent film. For those who missed it at the cinema it is a remakable and gripping film.

I haven't viewed the dvd yet but I'm looking forward to hearing the dts soundtrack.

Got it on R2 german i think, can't check as the old lad has it, brilliant film with DTS also, however i would wait for the R2 english version as all the substantial extras have no Subtitles!!!!! Brilliant though.
