Is the DVD player connected to the same scart socket as the XBOX, or are they connected to 2 different sockets on the TV.

Perhaps you only have 1 RGB enabled scart socket?

Yep, the only way to eliminate dot crawl is through your RBG scart. If you're inputting a composite signal you'll still get dot crawl.

I connect my x-box through a Joytech advanced cable using s-video and use my RGB scart for my dvd. The dot crawl is still present but is less objectionable than on bog-standard composite.

What are you displaying it on ?

I noticed some very slight movement Halo on the edge of the gun you holding. I only noticed it when viewing on a 7.5ft screen. I had played through the whole game on my 28" tv and not noticed it. I looked on my 28" tv after seeing it on the 7ft screen and saw it..but I had to look hard for it.

If the cable you are using is the one which you got with the xbox, it is only a composite cable, and not capable of carrying RGB, you will need to get a RGB cable like the Microsoft Advanced scart, or a 3rd party product.

    Cheers,
