title says it all really
How are we expected to play cd-roms made of gold?
yet another case of anti-piracy measures gone mad
eh? the title ain't enough for me!
ive always wondered what going 'gold' means, odes it happen when a game sells x amount of units or something?
Sorry.......it means that the developers have produced a final version of the code/game, which is now ready to be sent for mass duplication. Then onto the shops so we can all get our sweaty mitts on it.
Do we have a concrete UK release date yet? Is it just the PC version, or is the Xbox version due too?
Confirmation it has been released to manufacturing.... Due in retail on August 2nd!
August 2nd is a Monday - I assume this is the US release. UK release date will be on a Friday - anyone know?
"Retailers in the States will be allowed to pick up games starting at 12:01 AM on August 3rd. The official street date is actually August 5th in the U.S.A., but some of your favorite stores will probably have it early for those of you who have to have it first. Check with your local retailer for that information.
Internationally, the game will take a few more days to make it to the store shelves. The UK will probably get it first, on or about August 6th. Everywhere else will probably be Friday, August 13th"
