As an impulse buy I bought an Eltax Speaker package in the sale at my local Curry's (my wife wouldn't let me use my Mercurys). The model is "Eltax Home Cinema 1" and they only cost £79 but I've looked everywhere for more info on them but it doesn't look like they exist!
The Eltax site is useless and nobody has ever reviewed them or sells them.
I just want to make sure that I haven't bought a pup, especially when I could have bought Stargates for £10 more.
    Can anyone help?

My advice would be if you like how they sound, why would a bad review then change your mind. After all the reviewer's hearing could be totaly different to your own.

Does the eltax package sound much worse than the Mercurys. I need more space for dvds and are looking to replace my Mercurys with a smaller sub/sat speaker system.

I'm ashamed to admit that my rears are some of Eltax's crappiest offerings. They're called 'Eltax Digital Line' and are absolutely dire.
