Dont suppose....

anyone knows why my sky + has suddenly stopped letting me put things on autoview (where it changed to the channel automatically)

The option isnt even there no more, i just get the choice of series link and record.

I only got sky plus about a month ago, surely it cant be up the spout already can it?

 

SKY+ has never had Autoview.

 

I'm sure it had it when i first got it.....

The reminder still works when it comes up saying blah blah is about to start, but you have to hit select, it doesnt automatically switch to the channel.....

I'm almost certain i have used it while i have had sky plus

 

That's what always happened. I much prefer that anyway, if you're in the middle of watching something else.

Yep.. its definitely a Sky + thing.. apparently the reasoning behind it is that the autoview was only ever there in the first place so that it was easier to record stuff with a vcr/dvdr while you weren't there.
