Looking for a decent 49 - 55 inch TV but deals seem really poor right now.
Would things pick up before christmas?
Did see a lg 55uj750v selling for £660 at the weekend on amazon but I did not buy it maybe I should of?
Or any recommendations for other good TVs?
    no more than £650
Oh TV I am using now is a Sony EX41 42 so anything bigger would be nice.

Glad you didn't get that TV! Did you look at LG models because you need wide viewing angles?

Best TVs in that price range are the Sony 55XE70xx series and Hisense 55N6800.

Historically prices dip low at black friday and don't really get any lower in xmas/jan sales. In fact in some cases they won't get reduced until the clearance sales for TVs in spring so if you want to get the most bang for buck you should buy then!

You should be fine with a TV with a VA type angle then, no need to take a drop in quality to look at the LG models.

I would look at either the Hisense 55N6800 or Sony 55XE70xx series or if you want to wait for the right deal to come along you might be able to squeeze a TV like the Sony XE85xx series or Samsung MU70xx series (don't look at the 49" MU70xx) instead. Both these TVs are a step up if you like to use motion enhancements to smooth motion out and reduce motion blur.

I noticed prices have gone up from Black Friday deals and guessing it’s so when they go back down on Boxing Day certain shops can call them sale prices with x amount off.

Hopefully they do, got to be worth waiting the couple of days to find out.
Websites for various shops may even be updated on Christmas Day.

Ooh nice. Which store? Wonder if it’s all of them. It’s normally on Boxing Day.

TV is set up its massive compared with my other LG 32 inch TV
    20171227_142342
Viewing angels seem OK I was worried about this.
The blacks are very black not like a Gray like on most my other TVs to.
where my PC is its to close but fine if I move away a bit more.
HD from Sky q seems fine.
still going keep the LG to view freeview or SD content.
Its much better than the other 32 inch emotion TV in the other room it has good blacks but you need to sit direct in front.
