Hi guy's/girls

I have a budget of £899 max and I'm not sure whoich LED smart TV to get.

I'm using my TV for Movies, catchup TV, PS3 gaming.

I have the eye on this TV's:

LG 42LM760T (LED 42") - £899

SAMSUNG UE40ES6800U (LED 40") - £799

SAMSUNG PS51D8000 (Plasma 51") - £799.95 (ex demo product)

PANASONIC VIERA TXP42VT30 (Plasma 42")- £699.95 (ex demo product)

Or if you have any other advice to give ?

Between the review they are really confusing me, one the black is not best then on other the 3D is crap etc....

Thank in advance

i've got the HX753 and it's an excellent tv. i use it for what you are going to use it for and it's great.

i originally went for the ES6800...but was not impressed with that at all.

can't comment on the LG...but there is a thread on the HX753...and not many posts regarding problems with this tv....as opposed to other threads which have people discussing problems with their particular sets. :)

Hi thanks for your advice, can I ask you few question regarding that Sony:
- Do you get LED Bleed on the corners (seen on many post about Samsung) ?
- How is the 3D not to flickery or give headackes ?
- Do you have the current channel displaying when you are on the EPG mode ?

Thanks :smashin:

Just come back from Currys and wasn't impress with the Samsung as they are too bright but I was very impress with the LG 42LM760T !

The black where perfect the image where so smooth compare to the most expensive Samsung E8000 next to it Samsung was a joke.

Does any one as that LM760T model ?

I don't notice any bleeding on the settings i have....( i don't go out specifically looking for it, i don't see it when i'm watching tv....or when the ps3 starts up...that is a dark screen as you will know...

3D is really excellent and no headaches...after playing zombies- kino for nearly 4 hours...(got a major headache on the ES6800 after half hour - one of the big reason for sending it back)

i have not tried the epg mode as i get all the epg via my sat box

After some hard thinking my heart is between the

LG 42LM760T (LED 42") - £899

SAMSUNG UE40ES6800U (LED 40") - £799

SAMSUNG PS51D8000 (Plasma 51") - £799.95 (ex demo product)

PANASONIC VIERA TXP42VT30 (Plasma 42")- £699.95 (ex demo product)

My main use for a TV is Blu-ray, Boxee Box via NAS, BBC iPlayer, Freeview HD, 3D for occational show rare movies or for future proof.
