I have just watched Donnie Darko on DVD. I thought it was excellent but must confess to being a bit confused as to what the hell was going on. Anyone care to give me their thoughts?

    Thanks.

Do a search on the forum, you'll find loads of stuff to keep you occupied (and even more confused)

I've never understood why this film is held in such regard.

I've either completely missed the point, or it is just not my type of film.

Go to www.moviepooper.com. There is a fairly clear & simple explanation there. Well it made some sense to me anyway.

EDIT: Removed the dot from the URL.

I like it, too. Don't really know why but it kept me glued to my couch.

    Quite outstanding.

It's like saying "it was his sled, from when he was a kid".
