Another game making the jump from Wii U, DKC Tropical Freeze is out May 4th.

Playable Funky Kong Comes to DKCR: Tropical...

Doesn't look like there's much new here for anyone that had the original, but it's a solid platformer for newcomers.

Great game. Realy enjoyed this up until my usual 30% through drift onto something else habit. Pretty tricky in places for me though!

Loved this game which I bought on digital download, what's the betting they expect you buy it again or at the very least a slight discount like they did with Wii VC purchases on WiiU.
Probably not going to happen I know but I still live in hope that as its attached to my account that it will be a free download.

Slap slap again for the Wii U owners.

What have this developer been doing for Nintendo since this game came out? Is this really the best we can get?

    Big disappointment.

It's crazy we haven't seen a peep out of Retro for four years. However I don't think this is being made by them. Monster Games worked on the 3DS port of DKC Returns, I reckon they've handled this port.

    Yeah Id bet the same.

Was quite disappointed how Donkey Kong Country looked on the SNES Classic, so will love replaying this. And on the go. Man I love the Switch.

As fantastic as they were & as much as I enjoyed both donkey Kong country games on the Wii U, this re-release for the switch is something I can't see me double dipping for, not when the only enticement seems to be a new character.
Now If they had included a couple of new worlds then I would have certainly jumped in,none the less it is great news for those that never owned the Wii U or never got to play tropical freeze because it really is a fantastic game.

Definite double dip (DDD?) for me, love the DKC games and being able to play this on the go is a huge benefit.

I do laugh at the number of us on this forum, myself included who either hardly start games or merely play through 50% or so before moving onto the next game.

I do it a lot but particularly bad when it comes to Nintendo.. I like collecting their stuff and it bugs me not having their 1st party games even though i know I rarely get time to play through them all.

Ditto, you got me thinking and I'm massively guilty of this on Nintendo Consoles, with Wii U probably the worst case.

    E3 rolls around.

It's time for Nintendo's press conference. They've been tweeting Metroid hints all day. Time for the big reveal... Metroid Prime Trilogy Deluxe. [emoji23]

It's joined by Super Mario 3D World Deluxe and Mushroom Kingdom: Warriors to complete the Fall 2018 line-up [emoji14]

It seems it’s just me who didn’t like this on the Wii U, so I won’t be buying it again. It was too frustrating imo.
