domino 30 pic size from 12"

    how can i work this out?
    anyone know what the pic size would be from 12" away?

    From 12' your image will be 5 - 6.6' wide. You can work this out from Projector Centrals Image calculator http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator.cfm but the Domino 30 isn't listed yet!! Or you can work it out using the throw ratio supplied on the Sim2 site:

    1.8 - 2.4 : 1

    This refers to the distances from the screen required to give a 1m wide image. So in normal 16:9 mode the projector needs to be between 1.8m and 2.4m away (since you can adjust the zoom lens). To get width from a distance value, divide distance (12') by the two different throw ratios (for min and max zoom) to get min and max screen width.

    (if you had a screen size in mind and wanted to now how far away the projector must be, multiply that figure buy the two throw ratios)
