    Bryan,

The 30 is a better choice if you are likely to be using High Def material in the future in the form of Euro 1080, D-Theater, HCPC, and eventually High Def DVD.
As you said, the 30 has a shorter throw which is 1.8 to 2.4:1 as opposed to the 20 which is 2.2 to 3.1:1.

Can you expand a little you answer please.

Are you saying that 1024x576 is better with the current crop of players due to the line resolution.

If you were feeding it a 720p signal (Say thro a scaller) then the 30 is better

    thats about right.

Domino 20 is a perfect match for SD material.

the 30 will still deliver a great pic with SD but it will realy shine when HI-DEF is around

the 30 will is also be a great match for dvd players that scale to 720p such as the pioneer 868i or denon A11

well i would rather take a lumagen but yeah as long as it 1:1 maps to the 1280x720p of the domino 30 then are in real business.

Played hi-def through my PJ and the results were just awesome. having a true 720p source is just so much better than scaling to 720p. The difference is staggering.

But if you had a domino20 it would be downscaling the 720p source which is not good
