    Alright folks

Anyone know how to connect a Dolby 5.1 Prologic DVD player to a Philips 6515 TV in such a way as to listen to standard TV channels through my DVD surround speakers?
I've done this before successfully by turning off the TV speakers and turning the volume up so as to act as a booster that sends sound through the DVD speakers (via audio cables, of course:), but i can't work out how to do this on my Philips 6515 TV as i can't seem to be able to turn the TV speakers 'off'.

Anyone done this or know another way to use the DVD speakers instaed of the TV ones?

    Cheers

Never tried this before myself... but don't Philips TVs have a switch on the back for disabling the built-in speakers?

I think the audio outputs of the 6515 are fixed level. Philips used to have speaker switches on the back of some TV's but it seems they have dropped that now.
