Sony 14" mono TV - use small phono headphone socket to L and R Audio input into a Sony DAV-S550 audio in.

How will Dolby ProLogic II react/sound on a full 5.1 set of speakers?

Will it work, but only put the same mono out both L and R speakers, or will there be no rear sound, just front?

    Many thanks for your advice

You can't get Pro Logic (any version) from a mono source.

Probably what will happen is that you end up with just sound from the front centre speaker.
