Hello,

I have a question about the best possible audio settings for my setup: The LG 65G1 TV + Sonos Arc + PlayStation 5.

When i put my TV settings on 'Passthough' i get the following results:
Netflix App: Either Dolby Digital 5.1 or Dolby Atmos (DD+)
Youtube App: Multichannel PCM 2.0
PS5: Multichannel PCM 7.1 (when PS5 setting is on LPCM, even if i choose 5.1 from PS5 settings it still outputs it as 7.1)
PS5: Dolby Digital + (when i set the PS5 setting to Dolby/DTS instead of LPCM)

When i put my TV settings on 'Auto' i get the following:
Netflix App: Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1 or Dolby Atmos (without DD+ written behind it)
Youtube App: Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0
PS5: Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1 (since my TV is set on Auto it won't let me change the PS5 settings anymore, it just changes to this everytime i turn console on/off).

So what is better? Put it on Auto or Passthrough? eArc mode is on. When i turn this off i also get different results, but i think its better to leave it on right?

Also what's the difference between:
Multichannel PCM
Dolby Multichannel PCM
Dolby Digital

I hope someone can explain to me ^^

I have the same problem with my LG c1. Also my shield won’t work in pass through I have to put it in auto. I believe pass trough is better you get better signal.
