Dolby Digital Ex

    Can anyone advise if i play a dvd disc with Dolby Digital Ex sound, will pass it thorough the optical out to my Denon 1507 receiver?

    I have 6.1 which i think i am correct in thinking is right for DD Ex!

    6.1 is fine for DD Ex. Enjoy DTS ES as well.

    you will find most dvd have an ex sound track its well worth installing 6.1 on your system im running 7.4 at the moment and trying to research a centre rear :eek: not sure if a centre rear is any good tho
