    Hello,

how do i setup a dolby digital system, i have set the sizes and distances but am unsure of how to go about setting levels. i am using a Sony 735 through a yamaha 592 amp via the six phono inputs. Do I need a sound level meter and what should i be aiming for and where in the room?

Any help will be appreciated. Plus where can I get a sound meter from if i need one?

You can get a pressure meter from tandy for around £25. Sit in your favorite seat set to slow and 70db and adjust levels.
video essntials dvd is very helpful.
also a few dvd's such as R1 fight club , x-men and toy story 1+ 2 have a optimode to help set sound levels.
