Dolby Atmos with PS5 and LG CX (internal speakers, blu ray)

Novice Member

I've got a movie called Malignant on Bluray, I would like to play it in Dolby Atmos using the built in speakers in my LG CX.
I have Dolby Atmos option in the TV enabled.

In PS5 settings, I set Audio Format (Priority) to Dolby (other options are Linear PCM and DTS).

After inserting the movie disc, there is a short Warner Bros intro, and audio shows as "Dolby Audio-TrueHD", 7.1ch.
When I start playing the movie, audio shows as DTS-HD MA, 5.1ch.

Now I'm not sure if the movie itself doesn't include Dolby Atmos, or is it something else?

Thanks in advance.

It's not the PS5 audio output settings that need to be set those are for games only, you need to play the movie then press the options button on the controller click the three dots icon and select bitstream, this allows for Atmos and DTS-X playback if the movies support them.

That said this movie doesn't support Atmos only DTS-HD Master 5.1
