Doh!! SACD on htpc

    I just bought my wife the SACD of Pink Floyds Darkside of the Moon for Christmas assuming we could access the 5.1 tracks from our HTPC just as we do for DVDs ie
    (DVD drive>PowerDVD>gametheaterSPDF>yamaha AV amp)
    Having tried it I now assume I screwed up big time...
    :(
    Do I need a dedicated SACD compatible player or is there a PC route?

    Dedicated SACD player I'm afraid. I'm not aware of any PC SACD solution although I'd be happy to hear about one!

    At least the 2 channel CD bit works, so not totally wasted. :)
