Does your 3805 take banana plugs?

    Just got a 3805 only to find that it doesn't accept banana plugs.

    I'm sure i read about someone drilling their 3805's connectors, it it was you could you reply here please?

    Im sure youll find that it does as
    any owner may confirm
    as a safety feature all amps have the speaker terminal
    blocked off with a small plastic lug
    removeable easily with a small jewellers screwdriver

    I've removed the plastic protector but can't push a banana plug in, it's very tight and i don't want to force it.

    Forgot to mention that it's 4mm banana plugs i'm using.

    That's me!
    Just drill them out with a battery type power drill using a 4 mm drill.
    You'll be the laughing stock of the family ("Is he going bananas?"), but the bananas will fit.

    Mine had nasty bungs with a rounded cap, couldn't grip with a screwdriver.
