Does VMC trach recordings in the guide??

Active Member

I had a Humax 9200t Freeview PVR, and am now changing it for a custom HTPC.

One feature of the Humax was that it tracked recordings in the guide - called "Accurate Recording".

This meant that if the programs times were changed in the guide the Humax automatically updated itself so that it still managed to record the whole thing - no more missed starts or ends.

Can this be achieved in VMCE?

I think it does as I was recording the football a while ago out of habit (due to owning in the past an older Humax which didn't track) I always record the couple of following programs to cover extra time/penalties, but it was unneeded as VMC recorded it all and the overtime etc.

But to be safe it may be worth testing this out!

VMC Does do it, but it depends on the guide being updated (obviously).

Great - so the user doesn't have to do anything (like turn on a setting) - it just does it??
