    Hi all

This topic kind of stems from my last post.

Basically I have a hdtv with no dvi or vga inputs. Im trying to get my pc to run on the tv pixel for pixel. The Tvs resolution is 1366 x 768,

Currently Im using DVI to HDMI but this wont let you produce pixel for pixel resolution but I keep reading that a VGA connection lets you do it pretty easily ( via powerstrip )

Anyway Im just wondering if anyone else has tried VGA to component cables on a hdtv and does it work ?? Ive used component cables on xbox and the pixture is awsome !!!

    Any advice would be great,

    Cheers guys )

    Will

I'm sorry but there’s no way to obtain 1:1 pixel mapping via component. However, you can enter the service menu and manually adjust the screen to compensate the overscan.

Try a DVI to HDMI cable if you can get one. Its what I use on my KDL-W402000 to get 1:1 Mapping @ 1080p
