Just wondered. When I adjust the tone control on my amp, does it affect the tone of the LFE channel going into the sub? ie, will raising the trebble to give a higher pitch sound in the satelite speakers also raise the pitch of the LFE, therefore reducing the LFE due to any frequencies going above the subwoofer's range?

    Thanks.

No sir, altering a treble control should not affect the subwoofer output if for no other reason than the sub's x-over should be sloping off by 100hz or so. A treble "lifting filter" should not be doing too much at all (audibly) below 1khz.
Whether bumping the bass or loudness control up will affect sub output may depend on several factors within the amp set-up menu's, LFE to mains and sub, non-discrete matrix processing, that sort of thing.
