The TV Link unit allows users to change the channel on the V+ box from a TV that is not connected to it. I use it with my current Sky setup. Does anyone know if this facility is available on V+ box?

    Thanks

as a current sky+ customer, Im moving to virgin media and have been wondering the same. From what I can tell from the replies Ive had on here today it seems it may be possible to use my tvlink but will need to fork out for extra kit to power up the magic eye as v+ box doesnt send power through thr rf output.

    can anyone confirm this though?

I dont know whether the magic eye type device works, but can confirm that the V+ uses IR remote controls. I have a video sender device and it works exactly the same as it did on my sky+.
